Infertility, Pregnancy Loss & Stillbirth Therapy
Who is this for?
Infertility, miscarriage, stillbirth and other pregnancy losses can bring a complicated mix of grief, anxiety, anger, sadness, fear, hope, and uncertainty. You may be navigating fertility treatments, waiting for test results, making difficult decisions, experiencing a miscarriage or pregnancy loss, or trying to understand how to move forward after loss.
You may also be pregnant again after a loss and find that what you hoped would be an exciting time is filled with fear and worry.
Therapy can provide a space where you do not have to minimize your experience, explain your grief, or pretend that you are okay when you are not.

Infertility Support
Infertility can bring a complicated mix of emotions—grief, anxiety, frustration, anger, disappointment, hope, and uncertainty. You may find yourself navigating fertility testing, treatments, IVF, difficult decisions, waiting for results, or the uncertainty of not knowing what comes next.
It can be difficult to watch others become pregnant while you are struggling to build the family you hoped for. You may feel disconnected from friends or family, overwhelmed by pregnancy announcements or baby-related events, or frustrated when others do not understand what you are experiencing. Infertility can also affect your relationship, sense of identity, body image, and relationship with your own body.
Therapy can provide a compassionate space to process these emotions without judgment. Together, we can work on coping with uncertainty, navigating difficult decisions, communicating your needs, managing anxiety, caring for yourself throughout the process, and finding ways to move through infertility without losing yourself along the way.
Miscarriage & Early Pregnancy Loss
Miscarriage and early pregnancy loss can bring a deep sense of grief and loss, even when the pregnancy was brief. You may be grieving the baby you hoped to meet, the future you had imagined, and the changes you were already beginning to make in your life.
You may experience sadness, anger, guilt, anxiety, numbness, or confusion about how to move forward. Others may not fully understand your loss or may expect you to return to everyday life before you feel ready. Pregnancy announcements, baby showers, due dates, or seeing other pregnant women may bring up unexpected emotions.
Therapy can provide a safe and supportive space to acknowledge your loss and make room for whatever emotions are present. Together, we can work through grief, identify ways to cope with reminders and difficult moments, strengthen your support system, and explore how this experience has affected your sense of safety, trust, relationships, and hopes for the future.
Support After Stillbirth
Losing a baby through stillbirth is a profound and often complicated loss. You may be grieving your baby while also trying to navigate medical appointments, changes to your body, decisions about future pregnancies, and the expectations of returning to everyday life.
You may feel sadness, anger, guilt, anxiety, numbness, or a sense that others do not understand the depth of your loss. You may also find yourself struggling with reminders, anniversaries, pregnancy announcements, baby showers, or seeing other families with babies.
Therapy can provide a safe and compassionate space to grieve your baby, process what happened, and work through the emotions and experiences that may continue to affect you. There is no "right" way or timeline for grieving, and you do not have to minimize your loss because others may not know how to talk about it.
Pregnancy After Loss
A pregnancy following miscarriage, stillbirth, or another pregnancy loss can bring complicated emotions. You may feel grateful and hopeful while also feeling anxious, afraid, or unable to fully enjoy the pregnancy.
Every appointment, ultrasound, symptom, or milestone may bring up memories of your previous loss. You may find yourself constantly checking for signs that something is wrong, feeling nervous before appointments, or struggling to connect emotionally with the pregnancy because you are afraid of losing your baby again.
Therapy can provide a space to hold both the hope and the fear while developing ways to manage anxiety and cope with the uncertainty of pregnancy after loss. Together, we can work toward helping you feel more grounded and present while honoring the loss and experiences that continue to be part of your story.
How can therapy help?
Therapy can give you a place to process grief and the many emotions that can accompany infertility and pregnancy loss. Together, we can work through what has happened while making space for the emotions that may continue to arise.
Therapy may also help you develop ways to manage anxiety, cope with triggers, communicate your needs, navigate relationships, and care for yourself throughout the fertility or pregnancy journey.
If you are experiencing a subsequent pregnancy after loss, therapy can also provide support as you navigate the complicated emotions of being hopeful while simultaneously feeling afraid.
What is your approach?
My approach is compassionate, individualized, and trauma-informed. I will meet you where you are rather than expecting you to move through grief in a particular way or on a particular timeline.
Depending on your needs and goals, therapy may incorporate person-centered therapy, CBT, ACT, trauma-informed approaches, EMDR, and other therapeutic strategies.
We will focus on both the emotions you are experiencing now and the experiences that may be influencing how you respond to them.
Why work with me?
I specialize in perinatal mental health, including infertility and pregnancy loss, and understand that these experiences can affect far more than your emotional well-being. They can impact your relationships, sense of identity, body image, confidence, and hopes for the future.
You deserve a space where your experience is taken seriously and where there is room for grief, anger, hope, uncertainty, and healing—all at the same time.
